North House provides a spectrum of housing support for those who are at risk or in crisis within the communities of North Durham.
North House was created in June of 2004, when people saw a need in their community.
People were starting to see that their neighbours and friends were struggling to make ends meet. Some were under-housed, others couldn’t pay their bills and some had nowhere to live.

Our Mission is to nurture, treat and rehabilitate injured and orphaned native wildlife with the goal of releasing healthy animals back into their natural habitats.
Shades of Hope is committed to providing veterinary care, proper nourishment and a safe place to flourish until they can resume their rightful place in nature.
Young Life communities strive to create meaningful, mentoring relationships between leaders and teens and to create spaces where teens are listened to, and where questions of life and faith can be discussed.
You will find Young Life leaders wherever kids are found… cheering in the stands at a hockey game, encouraging them in school activities, or hanging out at the nearest coffee shop or skate park .
